This is because I use that key for toggling chat (Ctrl + Enter). I found this combined with Shift being bound to CTRL to be a more comfortable hand position. CTRL + Enter again to activate the hotkeys once more. This will suspend the hotkeys so you can chat/type in the Tibia window.

If the hotkeys are active they are still only applied to the Tibia Window.

The Changes, The New Bindings and Explanations (Editing them will follow later) Change All these changes are found/can be made in the Flash Client so I wouldn't consider any of them an offense. (We're using this file because it loads up whenever you will run AutoHotkey)Ī brief note on legality: AutoHotkey is a very powerful scripting program however here we're only making quality of life changes to play the stand-alone client more comfortably. If you don't want to backup the default text then you can just delete it all so you have an empty text file. Most likely it will open for you in notepad, feel free to save the text somewhere else as a backup if you like. Once you have it installed you need to right click the tray icon and select "Edit This Script". To my best ability I've written this to cater for those with little-to-no knowledge of AutoHotkey and those, like me, who prefer the Stand-Alone client for it's superior performance.įirst you will need AutoHotkey! It can be found HERE. I'll also provide brief examples of editing it to your own needs or preference. I'd like to donate my setup with AHK that I use for the stand-alone Tibia client along with some explanation of it's functioning.

I've seen the topic of AutoHotkey pop up now and then around here.
